Job Description
• The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing the efficient receipt, storage, inventory control, and dispatch of renewable energy equipment and materials.
• This role ensures that all warehouse activities comply with safety, quality, and operational standards to support smooth field operations and project deployment.
• In the renewable energy sector, accuracy in handling sensitive solar components, batteries, and related gear is critical for timely installations and service delivery.
MAIN FEATURES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INVENTORY MANAGEMENT
• Maintain accurate stock levels of solar panels, inverters, batteries, cabling, and tools.
• Use inventory systems to track movements, returns, and reorder points.
WAREHOUSE OPERATIONS OVERSIGHT
- Supervise daily operations: receiving, picking, packing, storing, and dispatching.
- Implement efficient layout, storage procedures, and material flow systems.
SAFETY AND COMPLAINCE
• Ensure all warehouse activities meet safety, environmental, and quality regulations.
• Conduct regular safety drills and ensure PPE compliance for staff.
TEAM LEADERSHIP
- Supervise and train warehouse staff.
- Assign tasks, monitor productivity, and ensure adherence to procedures.
SHIPPING AND RECIEVING
- Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics with transport and project teams.
- Verify all deliveries and shipments against documentation.
ASSET TRACKING AND MAINTENANCE
- Maintain proper records and condition of warehouse equipment (forklifts, tools, etc.).
- Ensure safe storage and handling of delicate and high-value renewable energy components.
DOCUMENTATION AND REPORTING
- Maintain records for stock reconciliation, damage reports, and movement logs.
- Generate daily/weekly inventory and operations reports for management.
LOSS PREVENTION
Help Identify and mitigate risk of stock loss, theft or damage.
Job Requirements
Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree / HND / OND with at least 1 year of experience.
SALARY
Salary is between N80-000 to N100,000 Monthly
