Telelink Infra Services is seeking an experienced, growth-oriented Senior Project Manager for Energy Solutions to join its Sofia-based team. This role oversees the complete project execution lifecycle for commercial and industrial solar photovoltaic (PV) projects, grid integration systems, and advanced power management infrastructure across Bulgaria and broader European markets.
The ideal candidate will bridge technical engineering rigor with commercial project leadership, managing multidisciplinary engineering teams, contractor networks, procurement workflows, and client relationships from feasibility to commissioning.
Key Responsibilities
1. End-to-End Solar & Energy Systems Project Leadership
- Lead the operational planning, execution, and final delivery of turnkey solar energy projects in compliance with company standard operating procedures (SOPs) and European quality standards.
- Formulate, maintain, and exercise operational control over master project schedules, resource allocations, and expenditure budgets using tools like MS Project.
- Direct cross-functional engineering teams, including site managers, electrical design specialists, structural engineers, and field technicians.
2. Supply Chain, Procurement & Quality Assurance
- Oversee the end-to-end procurement process for balance-of-system (BOS) components, Tier-1 solar modules, string/central high-voltage inverters, and energy storage enclosures.
- Manage site storage, logistics pipelines, and material handling protocols to prevent delays and reduce scrap rates.
- Enforce rigorous quality control (QC) frameworks to ensure all installation steps strictly conform to European Commission safety codes (IEC standards) and national Construction Law regulations.
3. Stakeholder Engagement & Commercial Oversight
- Act as the primary interface for external project stakeholders, including corporate clients, distribution system operators (DSOs), municipal regulators, subcontractors, and hardware vendors.
- Collaborate closely with presales, engineering, and bidding teams to draft technical proposals, cost-benefit analyses, and competitive tender responses for prospective energy projects.
- Monitor financial key performance indicators (KPIs), track budget variances, manage variation requests, and protect gross margins.
4. Regulatory Compliance & Documentation Management
- Maintain full compliance with local regulatory frameworks, grid interconnect standards, and environmental, health, and safety (EHS) codes.
- Oversee up-to-date technical documentation in internal enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems to maintain clear audit trails.
- Formulate comprehensive risk mitigation plans covering supply chain bottlenecks, grid interconnection bottlenecks, and site construction challenges.
Minimum Qualifications & Candidate Profile
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering, Project Management, or a related technical discipline.
