Jaza Energy is expanding its solar hub network across Kogi State. We are looking for a hands‑on Field Service Engineer to install, maintain, and repair solar energy systems in rural and semi‑urban communities.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
Install and commission solar generators, battery banks, and power distribution units.
Perform preventive maintenance on Jaza Energy’s solar infrastructure.
Troubleshoot and repair inverter faults, charge controllers, and DC wiring.
Train local hub operators on basic system monitoring and safety.
Generate daily field reports and log performance data.
Collaborate With Jaza Stars and the rest of the data team to detect and resolve technical challenges
✅ Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field.
2+ years field experience with solar PV systems (off‑grid preferred) or Telecommunications or related sector.
Solar Design, Solar Installation, Solar Inverter Maintenance, Electrical Installation and Design Skills.
Ability to read electrical schematics and use a multimeter, clamp meter, and insulation tester.
